THIS PAGE IS ABOUT OUR NON NFC PET'S.
This is Fluffy our neutered Main-Coone (the reason we got into breeding) , she is now 6 1/2. She is very small for a Main-Coone but has a big personality to make up for it. We got her from a couple in Devon after the wife was told by her doctor that she had to re-home all her long haired cat's, after she began to get allergies towards cat fur. She had 13 cats of which 5 of them where long haired Main-Coon's.
Fluffy was called Clover in her old home but here we call her Fluffy. She is a very funny kitty who meows constantly (talking to us probably), She doesn't really take to our Norwegians or their babies, she's not the mothering type. Although she's not social with all the other feline or the canine companions she loves her human family to pieces.
One of Fluffys main characteristics was her beautiful, long tail. Sadly in the first week of September 2009 Fluffy badly damaged her tail, we still don't know what happened but we had to take her to the vet and the tail was broken and deeply cut, there was nothing they could do to save it and Fluffy now has a small furry stump (rather like a rabbits tail) it quite cute. We were upset to start with but Fluffy coped with the operation well and is now fine. Although it dose affect her balance slightly, so she can't climb walls and trees like she used to.
This is Snowy our male neutered moggie, He is pure white with a black tail who is now 6. He's friendly at times but we don't see him very often anymore as since we got the dog, he's decide that he likes to spend some time away form here and is well known in the village and we know people feed him and care for him. He comes home at night to see his family and to have a meal and sometimes stays a couple of days before he goes off on his travels again.
This is Midnight our neutered male moggie who is Snowy's full brother. He is completely black and is now 6. I can guarantee you that 90% of the time if you go into the utility he will be on top of the boiler asleep he only ever steps off that boiler to get something to eat or go to the toilet. He love's being stroked but is not keen on being held.
This is Gabriela - Gabby as we mainly call her, she is our 9 year old neuter torte and white. She is a timid little cat but is very friendly as well. We do not see her in the day too often but she's always around in the morning and evening, Her sister Zena is the same around in the morning and evening but not the day. We don't have a picture of Zena but what we can tell you is she's a lovely friendly cat but is awfully fat and has been that way since she was neutered so we think some thing went wrong during the op. We do not over feed her so its not that. Zena is 9 as well and is a torte. Zena and Gabby were rescue cats and we think their early experiences have caused them to be so timid.
Storm is our 2 1/2 year old dalmatian, he is beautiful, affectionate, funny, full of character and very willful. Doing as he is told is not Storms strong point unless there is food involved in which case he will practically jump through hoops - he is very greedy - and is always watching the kitchen door to see if he can sneak into the utility to eat the cats food! Storm is lovely with the Norwegians and with Fluffy but not with the moggies - they never stood up to him when he was a puppy so he thinks chasing them is a good game. When the Wedgies had their kittens he was wonderful, he was very gentle and took it upon himself to protect them and to let us know if he thought any one of them was in any danger.
